Morteza Zohrabi, President

MORTEZA ZOHRABI, [MBB, PMP, CRP] is the CEO of Global Value Expanders Limited, and has
been the lead Director in the implementation of countless projects in both public and private sectors
for large hospitals, government offices, manufacturers, and universities to name a few.

With over 20 years of expertise and saving over 450 million dollars, Morteza has done it all.

Melanie Katsivo PhD, Cert. APM, Director

Melanie has over 30 years work experience in the Africa Region and Canada, developing and managing research and social development programs in the public and private sectors. In her role as Associate Director of Programs and Partnerships in the Africa Institute at Western University, she builds and manages reciprocal and mutually beneficial partnerships between Western University and African higher education institutions. Within the London Community, Melanie volunteers with the City of London in its efforts to implement the City's Inclusion and Diversity Strategy and with the Muslim Resource Center's Culturally-Integrative Family Safety Response (CCIR) program.

 

Christopher J. Carter, Director/Treasurer

A Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and Project Management Professional (PMP), Chris Carter has over 25 years management consulting experience in Canada, Australia, Italy and the United States. With 17 years with KPMG in Canada (including predecessor firms like BearingPoint and Chartwell IRM). he is an Executive Director in Advisory Services, within the Information Technology Advisory service line. In that role, beyond client service delivery, Chris is responsible for many facets in supporting KPMG's consulting practitioners deliver work for our clients. Prior to joining KPMG, Chris' consulting experience includes:

 

*        Various technology design and implementation roles from 1984-1994;

*        Openmind Consulting (1994-1997, sole proprietorship);

*        DMR Consulting Group (1997-2000); and

*        A.T. Kearney (2005-2008)

 

Chris' primary area of client service delivery is in the area of IT-enabled transformation programs, mostly to the public sector (at the federal, provincial and municipal levels in Canada, and the state/local levels in the US). Chris assists organizations in all aspects of change, especially when enabled by technology: defining strategic direction, designing appropriate and flexible organizational structures and processes, creating road maps and action plans, developing business cases, assessing outsourcing strategies, formulating and aligning business and application architectures with business vision and requirements, managing change programs, and implementing benefit realization systems. He is skilled in facilitating group decision-making, designing and conducting skills/methods development workshops, and preparing materials that reflect group consensus. Chris combines a pragmatic, proactive and risk-aware approach in managing projects with the understanding, sensitivity and attitude required for public sector, stakeholder interest driven initiatives. He is very familiar with procurement practices in the public and private sectors, as well as experienced in working in multi-vendor/consortium projects.

 

Dr. Andrew Schuster, Director

Andrew is the National Director Transformation Risk and Advisory at PwC Canada. Andrew is a practitioner and academic focused on the interests of organisations investing heavily in project-based transformation. As a practitioner, he has worked international, federal provincial governments in Canada, United Kingdom and Italy. As an academic, he has researched and published papers focused on topics including: governance, risk management, assurance management, benefit realization, agile delivery, project office design, change, project data analytics, public management, projectification and the project economy. Some of Andrew’s recent publications include ‘Guide to Auditing Change Delivery’ (APM, 2021),  ‘Managing Successful Programmes’ (Axelos, 2020), ‘The golden thread: as study of the contribution of project management and projects to the UK’s economy’ (APM, 2019).

Andrew brings strong professional credentials: DBA, MBA, CMC, FCI, FAPM

 

Sridhar Kethandapatti, Director

A highly commended and experienced IT project management strategist known for expertise in designing and executing effective organizational initiatives, Sridhar comes to the PMAC board with diverse experience in program management, integration, and enterprise applications implementation. He exemplifies a unique blend of business acumen, problem identification, and resolution skills, change management techniques, and solutions development aptitude. Acknowledged for big-picture vision, leadership, and tenacity to successfully improve operations, execute a smooth workflow, and accelerate efficiency, Sridhar has been on the national board for a number of years.

 

Peter Milsom, FCMC, IPMA PPMC, Director

Peter Milsom helps organizations understand what sustainability means to them, to maximize their benefits and value while minimizing costs and threats. He does this by helping organizations at all levels from the c-suite to the front lines understand what all of the elements of sustainability are, and helping them prioritize and focus on those areas that make the most sense. His area of focus in the sustainability space is change delivery or projects. Peter has also worked on several international standards, and is currently the Convenor of ISO 21502 Guidance on Project Management, and is the Secretary of the ISO 31000 Implementation Guidance Handbook. Peter is currently a Board Member of CMC-Ontario, IPMA-US as well as PMAC. He is a contributing author: Sustainable Project Management - The GPM Reference Guide, 2nd Edition & The GPM P5 Standard for Sustainability in Project Management v1.5.

 

Morley Selver, Certifications Chair

Morley’s mission in project management is to provide new project managers with survival skills they can build on as they go through their career. When growing up, no one wanted to be a project manager! We all become project managers by default. This means the skills we were trained in are not the skills we need now.

With this in mind, since 2000 Morley has focused on helping those new to project management to survive as they “learn the ropes.” His articles, book and workshops are about "what" to do, "how" to do it, and "why" you need to do it. The intent is to provide a better understanding of what project management is about and how one fits into the big picture. It’s to provide answers to project management questions one may have and to show how others do project management. Morley wants new project managers to succeed. He adds to the Board his knowledge and experience, from 40 years of managing complex industrial projects, to provide others with the practical tools, skills, behavioural attributes, and competencies they need to manage design and construction projects. 

 

Mark Buzan, Executive Director

PMAC confides its trust in Mark to oversee the operations and support to the Board of Directors. Together, we're working to streamline the administration of their continuing education and credentialing, and growing membership of the association.

Casandra provides the front line support to the membership, client service and processing memberships and certifications.
