Earn FREE PDUs on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at University of Toronto (Erindale Campus) in Mississauga

Come and be part of the experience. On Saturday, September 12, 2015 the finalists in the 5th annual PM Paper Competition will face off in a judged event. Each team of university students will give a short presentation on a past high-profile project, extracting lessons learned that can be applied to future projects. The teams will then answer questions from the audience and judges about the project, the lessons, and how they came up with them. Responses from the teams will be judged along with the presentations. The winning teams will earn cash prizes.

This year, for the first time, they will also be judging a second category for professional project managers working in the field for 2+ years.

In between these two groups will be the featured keynote speaker, Dr. Mark Kozak-Holland, who will present on how to properly take advantage of lessons learned to improve our project management practice. Filled with fascinating stories, Dr. Kozak-Holland will show how lessons learned were captured in the past and used to improve success through innovations on later projects. Best known for his "Lessons from History" presentations and books where he examines historical projects using modern project management and business analysis tools, Dr. Kozak-Holland always entertains with engaging stories and unique views on how to improve the success of today's projects.

So, why not take advantage of this opportunity. Come on out and root for the team from your favourite university. Hear about some interesting projects, ask questions to satisfy your curiosity, and earn some FREE PDUs along the way. Refreshments will be provided.

Remember, there is NO COST for this PMAC-sponsored event.
