Managing a Multigenerational Workforce

Learn how to adapt your management style to the different generations participating in today's workforce.

Today’s work environment is filled with people from multiple generations and cultures, often leading to misunderstandings and mistaken assumptions that quickly derail even the most talented team. Cultural diversity in a multi-generational work environment poses challenges in communication, team building, and leadership. The different generations have a different outlook about work-life balance, personal priorities, and values plus they prefer different communication strategies and tools. Managers need to learn how to deal differently with people from multiple generations to get the most from their team members.

In this highly-interactive session, participants will learn the key management and leadership challenges of working with multi-generational teams and learn to capitalize on the differences to increase overall performance. They will begin to understand the viewpoints of the generations and learn practical strategies to manage multi-generational teams.
