Forecast Scheduling with MS Project 2010

A seminar being held by the Toronto-area Microsoft Project User Group, open to PMAC members.

Description

Forecast Scheduling with MS Project 2010
In his presentation, renowned guest speaker and master scheduler Eric Uyttewaal will focus on the subject of his new book “Forecast Scheduling with Microsoft Project 2010” He will show you how to forecast your project with just the schedule, without the need for advanced techniques like Earned Value. Building on his principle of Dynamic Scheduling, he will demonstrate how to minimize the effort spent on a project schedule. His presentation takes scheduling to the next level by showing you how to create a model of the project to forecast it dynamically. The highlights of this approach are:

• Use deadlines and baselines to capture the promises you make.
• Update your schedule with revised estimates instead of merely charting progress.

Eric will carefully explain the principles of Forecast Scheduling in detail, demonstrate how it would work in practice and highlight some scheduling best practices to implement it.

As an extra bonus, at this event only, Eric will be selling signed copies of his acclaimed new book “Forecast Scheduling with Microsoft Project 2010” at a 33% discount. A $60.00 value for only $40.00.
